Meet the team: Steven Spicer

Position: Water Hygiene Engineer

Time at GMS: 18 months

Steven says:

“I’ve been a Water Hygiene Engineer at GMS Services for eighteen months. It has all the benefits of being a family run business, but with some really big contracts. It feels like it’s on the up.

“There are a great set of people working here and my experience has been good so far. If you’re willing to put the work in, the company will do all it can to open doors for you. For me, they put me through my plumbing training.

“The work I do is varied and I enjoy it.  I get involved in Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) side of things. Other days I work as part of the mechanical team, focussing on remedial work so that PPM can be carried out correctly.

“There’s always something interesting to do.”
